COMPASSIONATE COMMUNICATION (NVC): Soft Words For Hard Times
This Fall I’ll be once again offering NVC (NonViolent Communication) workshops, both because I love and use the practice extensively, and as part of my journey towards becoming a Certified NVC Trainer.
I’ll use a new format this time: two 3-hour meetings, one or two weeks apart. I hope this will help meet your needs for greater understanding and learning: time to absorb and try it out at home, come up with questions, etc.
Based on the NVC teachings of Dr. Marshall Rosenberg, you can:
- Learn how to stay centered and connected in the midst of tense conversations
- Find alternatives to judgment, blame and guilt
- Discover common ground despite disagreement
- Uncover and transform self-criticism
- Enjoy the magic of Empathy for self and others

I am also very interested in reaching out to the smaller communities in the Valley. If you know of a welcoming place, and/or have a group you’d like a class to be held for, please let me know — I’m ready to hit the road!
