“Stress” has become a household word these days: even children are learning this name for the pervasive sense of pressure that shortens tempers, creates accidents, amplifies illnesses and obstructs creativity. Stress is also known to be a major factor in anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship difficulties, and a host of physical ailments such as pain, high blood pressure and digestive disorders.

Tension seems to be epidemic in our society. But of course, many stressors are unavoidable, and it is only our reactions that we ultimately have any control over. The path towards self-understanding, leading to self-control, can help us learn how to take charge of our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual reactions to life’s changes. Change creates stress, and in our fast-changing world, we need effective tools to help us maintain a healthy balance. The goal at Heart & Soul Wellness  is to help you acquire those tools.

Tina Taylor has 25 years of work experience in holistic health. She is a Registered Nurse, holds a Master’s degree in Counseling, and meets national qualifications as a Yoga instructor. She is certified by the California State Board of Nursing as a Continuing Education Provider (#15260). In addition to HSW, she teaches Gentle Yoga and Meditation at a local health club, Bellydancing and Contact Improvisation Dance at several community sites, and occasionally Relaxation, Massage  and Bellydancing at local colleges LBCC and OSU. She offers private and group sessions, seminars, consulting, and custom-designed retreats. More about Tina.
